I have a problem installing this hard drive, the comp pings as if found new hardware but no notification in task bar. It worked before but when I last turned it on after loading I got the windows desktop but no taskbar or start menue. I unistalled and left it alone, but now I can't install at all. I have an installation disk but there are quite a few different installation programes on it and I don't know which one to use. I thought win would install It's own drivers but does not seem to recognise it. It shows up in My Computer as drive F but I can't open it . What am I doing wrong.
A bit garbled I know but any inf you need please ask, one thing I don't know is the make and model.
Any help appreciated. :?

I connect to USB 2, does this help as I do not have the package, the drive is set up NTFS that much I do know
