    AMD Vs. Intel

What one do you like better, Intel or AMD?

I personally like Intel better, its always worked fine for me

When i decided to get an AMD processer... well lets just say it drove me crazy

:eyespop: Search "before" you post???? Ha Ha! That will be the day

My first machine had a Celeron 1.5 and I never liked it. This one here has an AMD 2800 and it performs much, much better. That's the extent of my expertise! :-)

That's the reason why! It was a Celeron! One day when we get big Blizey you may actually have something to search for!  That'll be the day

That's right! And when I search...I will find not one, but two threads on "Intel and AMD"! Twice as much info.

Well i have a Celery in my desktop and a Celery D inside this laptop. With over 700mb RAM, they work perfectly well for me. I have loads of stuff running at the moment and nothings slowing down at all

Sure! I'm quite sure that if my first machine had 700 MB, I would have been happy with it too. Mine only had 128 MB and in fact when I bought it, the sales person told me it was obsolete and I should buy something else...but, I was stubborn and said that this was my first computer and I'm just going to use it to type letters and it would be satisfactory. Wrong!

Yes, I did consider putting 512 in it. Just didn't get around to it. Also, I had never opened the box before and was a little nervous about doing it myself.

The computer was obliterated by lightning =D> and homeowners insurance paid for another puter!
