I was given this old computer by my Aunt and I want to modify it to use for my Kool Scan 35 mm film scanner.
The computer worked at one time but now does not function.
Can anyone tell me where I can get the latest bios and update this machine. so I can get it to work.
I have an old I know old mother board. These are the numbers on it. ks21401330fs15/2.1 1df402 0100 SN 011334903792 motherboard 3vo 94v-0 0109

I have discovered from another forum or maybe on this one that The motherboard is aN AT type. The first letter is H cutting into a square. This looks like a manufacturers logo. then 3V-0 94V-0 0 109.
It is an intel processor. I do not know what kind.
I read somewhere Several components are made by ALi .
The Bios chip says Award bios 1998 pci/pnp 686 284188559.
Please Help me I need to know what kind of Motherboard this is. I need a manual and updated bios. Does anyone know where I can find one?
I was modifing the machine for a Adaptec AHA -2940AU SCSI card for a Nikon Coolscan 35 mm film scanner. That only or more easily can be i nstalled and works on windows 98.
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
