I recently decided to check out the Windows 7 release candidate. My hardware passed the compatibility tests with flying colors, so i decided to install it. The installation went smooth and everything seemed to be going great. Once the installation finished and the system rebooted, it hung at the bios hard drive detection. I cannot get the system to boot up now with this hard drive connected, which also means i'm unable to reformat the drive. I'm not concerned about getting Windows 7 to work so much as i want my hard drive back. It's a seagate barracuda 500 gig sata running at 150 mb transfer. Anyone have any suggestions?
