Once again, I've been a plonker

To consume some of my very long summer holiday, I let my mind wander, and it thought this:

I have a projector, so im gonna buy a faulty one, fix it, so I have 2.

So, using this logic, I got one off ebay on saturday. Hitachi CP-S310.

Early this morning, parcel force van arrives, with a box for me

Inside a hell of a lot of bubble wrap, was my projector.

As described - Completely dead

Had the machine apart, played around with it... I am suspecting its probs the power supply is dead...

However, being a plonker, before bidding, I didn't think to search to see if Hitachi projector spares were easy to come by. And they're not

So what do I do now??

If anyone knows where I can source cheap Hitachi parts, or even have any advice for the repairing of this projector, I would be very grateful
