    Computer keeps freezing up mostly when playing games

    whats up guys im new to this site and have some question i would to ask you. I just finish building my first new pc a couple days ago. I turn it on installed windows xp updated all drivers and installed some games. The first day it worked perfect no problems no freezing no crashing nothing. Next day i turn it on start playing wow it feezes up i reboot try it again 5min later freezes up. First i thought i was the game so i tryed another game still freezing. Ive tryed everything i can think of. These are my specs.

    MSi k9n2 sli platnium motherboard
    utlra 600 watt psu
    2 (2gb Cosair ddr2 800mhz)
    XFX 9600 gso video card
    500gb seagate hd
    blueray drive

    Were you pleased with the way the TIM (thermal paste in between the processor and heatsink) went on??
    Also, are you using stock cooling, or something else?
    I guess when you use Speedfan (amazing piece of software, cant rate highley enough), all should become clearer

    Install the mainboard chipset driver and reboot PC if you have not done so.

    Check the system hardware temperatures.

    If you have other PC, try use the VGA card on other PC.
    Maybe the VGA card causing the problem.
