    Thumbs down Laptop freezing

Hi I have only had my new laptop since last December and I've already had problems with it,I had to send it away and got it back a month later, they had to put in a new hard drive. I now have problems again and it keeps freezing.I've found when I'm using the high performance mode on Windows Vista,it doesn't freeze as much. I wasn't sure where to post this as I don't know if it's the hardware or not, I've done a virus scan,a malware scan and a spyware scan and sure it's come up with a few things, but nothing that has made a difference once removed. I have an Asus M51vr Laptop that is running Windows Vista Home Premium and I use MalwareBytes Anti-Malware,Spy-Bot Search & Destroy and Norton Internet Security 2009.

If you found some spyware you need to work with the people in the Malware forum to make sure that your computer is clean. Please read this first. I can't help with that but one thing that I can tell you is that only one Virus scanner should be on your computer at a time.
