I've Intel pentium 4, GLVG motherboard desktop.... Unknowingly i bought a HITACHI 0A38016 notebook hard drive for my desktop... My query is to know whether i can use HITACHI 0A38016 HDD for my desktop or not??? My friend is telling that notebook hard drives are not suit for desktop, thats y i scared to use it.... Pls resolve my query....

The model you list is not a notebook 2.5" hard drive.

It is a SATA 3.5" internal desktop drive 1TB.

If you had a laptop drive to use in a desktop you could with the proper adapter but again that drive you list is not a laptop drive.
