When i turn on the computer it dont seem to load.I have to keep turn it on and off.I just put a hard drive in.

What exactly happens? Does the BIOS POST? Do you get any message?

You added a new hard drive?

Is the old one still in there? If so does it have an Operating System?

IT is a gateway and when i turn it on the screen comes up that says gateway and on the bottom it says press tab for messages.I put a hard drive in plus sometimes when i go to a web site it takes a while to come up like mabe it is laging.

It would help us help if you could clarify and detail exactly what you are doing.

Yes it is the same computer and yes i have the old hard drive in it.And no it does not have xp it has microsoft millenniun edition on it.Because the xp disc i bad.Because when i try to in stall the xp it tells me that there is a file that is curupted so i had no choice but to put the windows on that i stated above.Like.
