Computer won't boot past Bios Screen

Hi.....I'm in desparate need of help.

I have a custom build computer...I use...Window xp., dvd-rom, dvd writer...2 hard drives... Couple months ago...my husband was on the interenet and somehow...got or download this MIRAR Toolbar....I tried to remove it the ....add remove way...it didnt work...so I used pc tool Doctor (?) to remove. Apparently it removed the toolbar..but not all of its stuff. So..it was doing wierd things to my computer. Anywayz it was still operatable..though...so i just left it as it be. Then...last night I came a cross it on my toolbar settings..so i tried to right click and delete it and ....then...(Hell fell over) it restore itself or something on o my intermet toolbar under yahoo, google...etc.
So I decided to do a restore....just to fix that for the time being. So ...Start, all programs , accessories, system tools, system restore...and choose my restore point...which I choose like a week before. (i know this aint gonna fix the STUPID MIRAR Toolbar) (but just for the time being) well the restore did its thing...than...I guess it configured it to back to the point i choose ..but as it go to this black scree ..I assume is my BIOS screens...recognizing...whats on my computer...
    pentium 4...Asus...game card...etc...
    detecting ...stuff...lik my dvd-rom drive......
dvd-rom writer...blah...then when it came to my floppy drive(which i RARELY ever use) the green light next to my the drive light up...on the screen it just froze.

at the bottom it says ...press delete to...go to setup (something like that ) and Alt F2....
that's it....it just sat there...so...i manual restarted my computer...hit the reset button...
    same again...
then I hit the turn on buttom....left it for like.....o 30 minutes ..turn back on...again...it did its thing and when it came to that BIOS...screen it just list most of the things...and when it got to
Detecting sony dvdrom - rw...(the curios jus sat there and continuous blinked)

So yet again....I manual turned off the computer...and then early this morning....turned it on
    NO CHANGE

    PLEASE HELP....i am not a computer techie...but i know a lil...
(getting a new computer ...is out of the questions. no funds)
PLEASE .....I'm hoping that ...FIXABLE... I have all the disc the came with the computer...
    IM DESPARate....PLEASE HELP....

What is the make and model of the motherboard?

The first thing you can try is press delete to go into setup.

In setup look for the option to load BIOS defaults then Save & Exit.

If you cannot enter the BIOS Setup you are going to have to open the computer and clear your CMOS.

Depending on the motherboard this is done by either using a jumper or if none is provided then removing the battery for a few minutes then replacing it.

This should reset or jump start the BIOS.

Can you Press F2 to enter setup?

If not do the lights flash on your keyboard?

Sounds like the keyboard is not being detected. Cannot do much in that state.

I'd suggest clearing your CMOS as mentioned above.

ok. I thought the screenshot was yours. Sorry

Anyway if your keyboard is not working (being detected) pressing anything is sort of useless.

If the keyboard were working (being detected) the Locks lights would flash at least once.
