Your manual should have the instructions.

Or you can ID the motherboard (there is a label probably near the graphics card slot) and we can download the manual.

No problem. Guess the computer just wanted to go for a trip.

Let us know if we can help further in the future.

Thanks for the update by the way.

What has bailed me out of similar situations with windows xp is a repair install. I don't know if it will work on other versions of windows. You need your windows disk. You boot to your windows cd, you might have to go into bios and change the boot order, then you skip where it says repair using console and go onto where it detects your previous installation and asks whether you want a new or repair install, pick R for repair and it will do a repair install and it should boot up and all your programs work as before except I always have to reinstall AVG anti virus. If you google it you can get more info.

Not only was this issue resolved but it is impossible to install or reinstall any OS when the BIOS will not boot.

Also advising people on how to by-pass Product Key restrictions is not only against the Rules of this forum but is blatantly illegal.

    Hence your post was edited.

Please read our Rules before posting again.

    Thanks.
