Any suggestions on how to clean LCD screen (non-reflective) ?

Not really an urgent issue, but have been wondering for a while now, if i use water, no matter what i do it will leave some water marks, some says alcohol but some says it might melt the screen, so how exactly do YOU clean it? any suggestions?

Go to you local eyeglass counter and get a large microfiber cloth for glasses. Use a spray-mist bottle with water only and spray a light mist on cloth - wipe gently with the cloth until the marks come free.

Microfiber cleaning clothes can be washed, but must be rinsed thoroughly, and never use a fabric softener on them.

If anyone answers with it's okay, don't believe it! It may be okay, but not all monitors are the same. I would not use alcohol unless the monitor maker for THAT monitor says it is okay. That said, I do know that alcohol can eat into some plastics and it does make some clear plastics foggy - not a good thing for monitors. Use water first, then go with the Endust for Electronics or alcohol-free glasses cleaner. And test a tiny spot in the screen corner before using anything but a mist of water.

Electronics stores have big screen TV cleaner solutions too - you should check them out.

Just some info on cleaning plastic screen covers. I sometimes have customers who bring in their motorcycles, and the clear plastic windshield (Fairing) is either scratched, dirty, whatever. I use this Meguiar's Plastx Plastic Cleaner & Polish to bring clarity back to faded plastics.
