i have had 2 via boards in the past and they have worked fine...well one was defective but that was gigabytes fault....and the other is preforming great....i had a sis board that was slower than any other board i have ever seen so really why dont people like it?....

VIA boards typically make up entry level boards from the various makers. Too often users buy as cheap as they can, then complain their computers do not play the most demanding games, or do multiple tasks without bogging down performance. But in reality, a VIA board with a nice CPU, plenty of RAM, and a nice graphics card will perform quite well for most normal users.
