what do you whan to know? I have looked under my computer, hardware and if its the hardware for the sound its Realtek high definition audio, that seems to be the one that is the main one but theres others such as audio codecs, bluetooth av audio, bluetooth sco audio, legacy audio drivers, legacy video capture devices, media control devices and video codecs. sorry im not sure what your looking for and have listed them all. hope it helps!!

Sorry sammi - I've been busy these last few weeks and I guess I missed your reply.

I can't seem to find anything on that monitor but if I understand you right, your monitor has built in speakers and those are what you have connected to the computer, right? You don't have a headphone or mic plugged in the the wrong spot perhaps, cutting off the speakers?

Can you try those speakers on another computer?

Did you make sure mute is not selected in your volume control?

Go to the add hardware wizard, and go to search. Find a driver then. Go to sound devices and then realtek hd sound. Reinstall then it should work!! Yay!!
