hi it's me again, don't knw where to post this.

i got a mobo with integrated vidcard. it has pci-e slot, so i bought a pci-e 2.0 supported vidcard. but when i install the card and driver i can't change the resolution from 800-600 to anything else and the colour it stays at 4bit i wish to have a 32bit colour. so yeah it looks like **** man.

now do i have to disabled the onboard video and where do u do that from? i would like to have my new pci-e vidcard running properly. i hope the vidcard is not defected.

now the monitor has a vga port (16 pin) the video card don't have one of those ports connection it only has the (24 pin) but it came with an adapter

ok never mind i had forgotten to install the latest service pack, that helped it worked, now i just gotta find out why 2 games keeps on freezing, i install the latest vidcard driver from the net, i will try the driver that came with it.
