Hello,

I have a Dell Dimension 5150C, every now and then if the computer has been on for a long time then the hard disk will corrupt and then give me read errors so I can boot up the OS, I don't think this is a problem with the hard drive as when I reformat the error does not show on the HDD diagnostics. Could this be a problem with something overheating and crashing causing the HDD to corrupt?

Any help would be appreciated.
