Well, it seemed to be working fine, and now, it's just not visible at all!

I have a compaq presario F700 laptop with windows vista home premium. (Can I throw vista out of the window, plz?)

Now, my DVD rom isn't runnign anything. It's not showing up in the my computer screen, it's not running autoplay, although I can hear the disk running. It's reading, but not talking to the computer, as far as I can tell.

I hit F1 on the startup... and the BIOS wouldn't show up! It just showed a diagnostic log, with no optiions to view anything.

I suck with vista. Give me XP... I can do almost anything with XP. this is just making me wanna...
