I have just bought this card and there are 2 PCI express power supply ports on it, do i need to connect power to both of them or just one?

The card appears to be giving me nothing at all, im not convinced its powering up. The user manual might as well be scribbled on a *** packet.... absolute rubbish. point of View website is useless too.

I went to install the drivers from the bundled disc and it told me there was no compatable hardware present.
