Here's the issue. Recently, while playing TF2 and Warhammer online, my screen would go black (randomly - ie.: no heavy graphics going on in gameplay) and I'd get the no signal cursor flashing around after about 10 minutes of gameplay. The power to the tower stays on, my lights are flashing and I have no idea why this happens. Neither game is by any means a resource or graphics hog. I simply "reset" the tower, it fires right back up & I can log into these games again without issue (except for the random black out in 10-15 minutes)
In contrast, I play Age of Conan (SUPER heavy resource/graphics hog) for hours on end without any problems.
Anyone have any suggestions on where to start with this? It seemed to have started (I'm nowhere near positive on this) when I installed EVGAs latest drivers for my video card.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Just a little further info...
After trying to play WAR again, I encoutered this shut down again. Turns out that the "busy thinking" light stops flashing, but I do not loose power to the tower as all of my fans continue running and the power LED stays on (although it does not work). The only way to restart my PC is to hit the reset button.

If all programs work fine but that one, then I would suspect that one program - perhaps a corrupt file, or some odd memory call. Have you tested your RAM? You can test your RAM using one of the following programs. Both require you to create and boot to a bootable floppy disk or CD to run the diagnostics. Using the floppy method is generally easier and yet another reason I still include floppy drives in my new PC builds. However, the CD method is just as effective at detecting RAM problems. Allow the diagnostics to run for several passes or even overnight. You should have no reported errors.
Windows Memory Diagnostic - see the easy to follow instructions under Quick Start Information.
or
MemTest86+ (for more advanced users) - an excellent how-to guide is available here.

After trying a few things (I haven't had time to test the RAM - but i did test it through my nVidia control panel & it came out ok), I looked into my event log.
When i crash, there is an error from the source "DCOM". Could tis be the issue & what exactlt is it.
Both games (TF2 & WAR) cause this random crash (not just the one). This DOES NOT happen during Age of Conan.
Thoughts?
