Everytime after starting the computer, the Device Manager shows a few hardware items which are not enabled. I can enable them manually, but then after restarting the problem comes back.

Here are the devices that are not enabled:
Texas Instruments OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller (IEEE 1394 Host Controller)
Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller (Network Adapter)
Texas instruments PCIxx21/x515 Cardbus Controller (PCMIA Adapters)

I'm running XP SP2.

I also have a "PCI modem" which cannot be enabled as the driver needs to be installed but not sure what modem it is, to get a driver for it.
