It is possible to do it with a cd-rom ???.

Amrel can supply the BIOS by email attatchment.
Then you can update your BIOS to RT686.829

I don't know if you can update a bios using cdrom. I think you need a floppy but I can;t swear to it. Ask Bonnie Zheng or talk to Diana Davila and tell them what you are trying to do. They re nice people and Diana might find you a used floppy drive for 25.00 U.S. like she did me if worse comes to worse, Maybe one of the more knowledgable guys like one of the moderaters can answer that question, I am typing this message to you on a Amrel Rocky 686 running Linux and wireless so enjoy your Rocky .
