Angry Faulty PSU / MB / GFX / CPU / RAM

    Ullo,
I've just bought some new hardware. Was raring to go so I could play games like Bioshock and Crysis. Put the thing together and nuttin. 600W makes clicky sound when I switch it on sometimes. If I get beyond that (after about 15 minutes of PSU being disconnected from mains) I get no display and the 1 long 2 short beeps suggesting no monitor or faulty graphics card. It's the same whether I try the onboard card or the PCI-E card. Haven't a clue what could be wrong. Any suggestions?

*Once the clicky noise stops on the PSU it will turn off and on for as long as I want it to and would otherwise not seem a problem. The hardware is another generation on from what I'm upgrading from so I might be being a bit clueless here, ie different connections on motherboard, SATA HD, PCI-e etc.

    This is what I've got.
    Intel Core 2 duo.
    2gig DDR2 ram.
    Nvidia 8800GT.
    PSU 600W.
    Asus ga-73pvm-s2 MB.

Just first off do you have dual 6 pin power to that graphics card?

Next if yes on the above did you connect a molex AUX PCI_E to the motherboard?

If you did the latter remove that connection.

If you did not do the former you need to.

Anyway your PSU should not be making noise. If it is new I would replace it.
