won't boot up
I have a gatewayy notebook m series 6750...running windows vista intel core 2...
first i would get this message....
Windows erro recovery. windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software change might be the cause. If windows files have been damaged or congfigured incorrectly. startup repair can help and fix the problem. If power was interrupted during startup shoose start windows normally.
launch startup repair (recommended)
start windows normally
I used the repair...all this does is go to a black screen and that is all..
so i try the gateway cd rom set up bios to boot from cd
i get a message that windows is loading files after that the floating green bars across the screen then the black screen after a little while the pointer arrow comes on i can move the arrow around and that is all i can do

HI Jephre,
Unalbe to do that because windows vista does not load. All I get is just a black screen. I powered up my laptop and tap the print screen button and I get a windows boot manger from there I did a memory test but after the test I still get a black screen. If if have have any other suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
