I turned off my laptop before going to bed last night.
When i woke up and tried to start it, the screen stayed black.
I tried restarting a several times but nothing seemed to work.

Also if you pay close attention to laptop you can see the start up logo of windows vista in background, also the log in screen when windows is fully started up.

Another thing is when it goes to log in screen, and i close the cover of laptop normally it goes to standby. But now it doesnt do anything, the only thing i can do is turn the laptop off.

Are you saying you can see the Windows desktop, but that it is very dark? If so, then your inverter(s) are out - it happens and most repair shops can fix it for $65 to $110 for parts, plus about 1 hour of labor.

Yeah i can see everything but its very dark.
Anyway thanks for help, will take it a repair shop and see what happends .
