    New problem?

When exactly do you get this message and what is the verbatim message?

What is the exact Dell model? Dimension 4300?

Was it perfectly fine last time you used it?

Are you familiar with the Dell Recovery options?

MaxBlast will test the Maxtor hard drive.

You cannot load a Microsoft version of XP on a Dell computer.

The original drive had a Recovery Partition as seen in the Dell link I posted.

If this drive is no longer accessible you will need to get a Recovery CD from Dell.
