I suppose it depends on which plastic was stronger.

The slot block might have been damaged or else the stick of RAM.

Also perhaps neither were damaged beyond use.

The initial burn you had related to the pins and slots not matching but that does not indicate permanent damage to either.

If you ever try either again clean the slot and the RAM pins both with alcohol or acetone.

i did turn it all off pretty quick and there doesnt look like either the ram or the plastic is damaged, i
will test it again later down the track when i get some correct matching ram..lol..
