Maybe someone can help me, i want to buy a XFX7900gs 512mb AGP for my old pc, but i heard that this card need min. 400watt and i have a powerunit that gives max 360 watt.

Because i want to use this pc for another 6-12 months is think that this card can give me more then a gf6600.
Maybe someone knows if it is a good choice to buy a 7900gs 512mb???

I see 400 Watt "minimum recommended" but I also see people using as low as 350 Watts.

As to finding one that is a good question. I can find no one who sells them.

I use my pc for gaming, games about a year old, not for the newest games, sometimes..,and the videocard is here in The Netherlands for sale at a price of 129,= euro
I think the most games i play, at a resolution of 1024x768 or 1280x1048, are not asking alot of my power-unit .

That is one of the highest end AGP cards that was made.

Looks like a good deal to me!
