i checked the ink cartidges and they are okay.it just prints normally but there is no colour nothing.
model: dell 720
machine tpye: 4126-0d1

do you have a print head cleaner option?
how old are the cartridges?

my artidge is like 2 years old and i have no cleaner option

have they been used frequently as sometime they dry up?
from the manual
You may need to clean the nozzles when:
White lines appear in graphics or solid black areas.
Print appears smudged or too dark.
Colors fade, do not print, or do not print completely.
Vertical lines appear jagged or edges appear rough.
To clean the ink cartridge nozzles:
Load plain paper. For more information, see Loading Paper.
Click Start > Programs or All Programs> Dell Printers> Dell Photo Printer 720> Dell Printer Solution Center.
Click the Maintenance tab.
Click Clean to fix horizontal streaks.
Click Print.
When the page prints, it forces ink through the clogged nozzles to clean them.
Print your document again to verify the improved print quality.
If you are not satisfied with the print quality, wipe the ink cartridge nozzles, and then print your document again.

it just improved the speed of the printing, still printing out blanck pages

it could be that the cartridges have dried out and need replacing.

Hi,
If your printer prints blank pages due to spooler you could fix it easily.
Most of the spooling problems are caused due to malfunctioned printer driver.
Reinstallation of the printer driver may fix this.
Data errors in the system also create spooling problem so you also need to remove such errors.
You could get a plenty software programs to repair printer spooler.
PC Health Advisor is a program which is used to repair printer spooler problem.
