Hey,

I just reformmated my computer and I'm having some issues.

My sound works with msn, wmp, itunes etc. but it dosen't work with any games!

Whats portal/ra2/cs:source etc. without sound!

Okay, i've checked my volume etc. is right (i've spent 4 hours trying to fix it) start--run--dxdiag gives me this errorirectSound test results: Failure at step 19 (User verification of software): HRESULT = 0x00000000 (error code)

I've tried doing what the google searches told me, i've checked my sound drivers, they are not yellow, enabled etc. i've reinstalled my drivers, i've installed direct x9c

sound works in wow, but not other games.
