Epson CX5700F wont print

My Epson printer wont print unless all the colours are present, the cartrigates are in but the 3 colours are out only the black remains and even though I just want to print in black and white it wont print, a warning will tell me I need to replance the coloured inks. Is there any way around this? thanks

can you get it to ignore ink monitoring?

I've done that but still the warning appears. I e-mailed Epson a few days ago but still no reply. I'll let you know if I figure it out. Thanks.

I should imagine the cartridges are chipped and wont let the printer work with empty cartridges.
