Does anyone know if it is possible to disable the click feature on the laptop mouse alternative. The thing I dislike about these laptop feature is that when I move around the screen I frequently click on something on the screen by accident.
I'd much rather if the only way to left click was with the two standard buttons.

Yes it is possible. The majority of laptops I have seen use a Sypnatics Touch Pad, so presuming this is your device, and indeed the same may apply to other devices.

You need to go to the Control Panel, open mouse settings and there will be a tab at the top called "Device Settings" or something similar related to your device name. On the Properties page, click Settings and look for the Tapping option in the Menu. You then need to disable tapping via the use of the "Enable Tapping" checkbox. Then click Ok and thats that!
