    Memory Card Probs:

    Hi,
    Good Day!

    Sir,

I have got probs with memory cards. My two memory cards got corrupted while using them with card reader. I am unable to understand where the probs lie. Is it with my PC or with the card reader or with my USB device. Some how I have copied some Mp3 songs to the card. But, my mobile shows it as corrupted and so I am unable to play them. Even I am unable to play them in my PC.

I've once again formated the card and tried to copy some mp3 songs. But the following message is displayed.

    Windows-Device Timeout

The specified I/O operation on \Device\Harddisk3\DR8 was not completed before the time-out period expired.

I understand nothing from the above. Please help me.

    Thank you!

When I check "Auto fix file system error", it is done.

But, when I check "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sector", my system
is getting freezed. Then I have to end that particular task.

If at all I try to copy one mp3 song to the memory card, its taking a lot of time and also its not getting played. Why does all this happen. Should I loose hopes on my memory cards.
