    laptop GPU overheating

    Hello everyone,

I bought a notebook (15W25) a few months ago and it seems to get very hot lately (when playing games). Even to the point of the GPU shutting itsself down (this happens at around 80-90 degrees celsius (176-194 F)) The CPU processors get to around 50-60 Degrees celsius (122-140 F).

    This is my current setup:

    BTO 15W25 http://www.imagecows.com/uploads/_db...e-laptop-1.jpg

    Intel core 2 duo t7200 @ 2.0Ghz
    100GB 7200rpm Hitachi HD
Geforce Go 7600 256MB dedicated (Forceware version 169.09 Modded .inf from laptopvideo2go.com)
    2GBs of RAM

Is this a know issue with this particular laptop(case) or GPU? Anyone out there with similar problems?

    Speedfan:

    GPU (in game):70-90 C (158-194 F)
    CPU's (in game): 50-60 C (122-144 F)

    GPU (idle): 53 C (127 F)
    CPU's (idle): 40 C (104 F)

    thanks,

    /teaks

    nevermind i fixed the problem,

turns out its just dust in the cooler, amazing how much dust these things catch in such a short amount of time.. (4 months)

Anyway everything's running fine now, even overclocked the GPU from 350/700 to 480/840

Now running at 39 C idle and 54 stressed
