    Re: Maybe hardware problem (Cooler)???

Sorry, your second reply sneaked in there. So Everest does not show your CPU temps? That is usually pretty reliable. Speedfan is fine, but I have found it, and Motherboard Monitor both some times have problems properly identifying the sensor they are reading. So I use Everest to verify, then modify Speedfan or MBM for the correct labels. Unfortunately, Everest does not minimize to the system tray to show real-time temperatures full time.

If you never removed the CPU fan's heatsink assembly, and the CPU fan is spinning fine, then the CPU temperature is most likely fine, based on the fact your log shows a CPU speed of 2.793GHz - indicating you are not overclocking.

You would have to remove the duct to access the fan, but it seems you should still be able to determine if it spins properly. And if that is a picture of your specific PC, then it looks pretty clean. Still I take my PCs outside every 2 months or so and blast them out with compressed air - and I am constantly amazed at what comes flying out. That said, and as a side note, the wife's case is the Antec Sonata II, which has a washable air filter. Her PC can go for 6 months without having to take it outside to clean - just pulling the filter and running it under the faucet does the trick. I will never buy a case without washable filters again.

BTW, the link to billgdrucker doesn't tell me anything.

The fact the sound gets quieter when the side panel is off indicates to me you might have an over pressure situation - too much air getting sucked in, but not enough getting pushed out. If your case has all the fans it can support, there's not much you can do about it. But this could also indicate the sound is coming from bearing vibrations reverberating through the case, and removing the panel disrupts that. Again, the only way to determine this effectively is to check each fan. Some disassembly is required. If you are not comfortable with that, then I strongly recommend you take the PC to a shop and have them check it out.

Warm air in?? Then your room it too hot!!!

I suspect it just feels like that - the "chill factor" effect - where faster moving air feels cooler on the skin than slower moving air. If the exhaust air does not feel hot, that's a good thing.

then why is it blowing cold air out the front, but inside it fells as though its blowing warm air in.
BTW its a new PC just bought from Dell should i give them a call and get them to pick it up?

Out the front? That is odd - generally you strive for good front-to-back air flow - meaning it draws air in the front and exhausts it out the back. I would attempt to verify flow - perhaps with a piece of Christmas Tree icicle or some other very light weight material. A flame from a match might work, or last ditch would be a lit cigarette - but only for a second as cigarette smoke in a computer is nasty - it sticks to everything and then dust sticks to it. People should NEVER smoke around their computers.

If you verify it is blowing out the front, then perhaps a call to Dell is in order. Otherwise, you could inspect the case fans your self and make sure they were not mounted inverted. A simple mistake as the air flow indicators (arrows) on typical stock fans are hard to see.

The fan in your power supply should be blowing out the back.

Exactly what it says. Something got hot and shut down to prevent damage - probably the CPU. So again, we're back to previous suggestions - make sure your computer is clean, especially the fans, and they are spinning freely. And again, if you are not comfortable performing a thorough cleaning, take it to a shop.
