Problem with speakers
I just got a computer from my Odyssey Charter School back in August and it came with speakers. They didnt work, my dad went out and bought another pair, they didnt work either. I took my speakers from my old computer and put them on this computer. The problem is, I cant hear the sound that well. You would have to put the speakers up to your ear to hear it properly. The speakers that came with the computer are SoundMAX Digital Audio Speakers. The pair of speakers I have are Polk Audio. Is there a way that I can make those speakers work better. Ive turned up everything I could find to full volume.

has the mute been applied?
are the speaker plugged into the correct outlet?
-
...The mute is off. The problem is the color for the speakers are kinda dark gold and there plugins are only Pink, Seafoam Green and blue.
-
are they just stereo speakers?
is the sound card onboard?
normally the speakers fit into the green socket.
-
Theyre not stereo speakers I think.
I dont know.
I put it in the green socket and I could but I would have to put it up to my ear.
-
do the speakers have a mains adaptor?
is it just music you have problems with hearing?
-
By the sounds of it, your speakers aren't to blame here, sounds like a software issue, do you have the latest audio drivers for your soundcard/integrated sound card?
-
I dont have a hearing problem. I dont know if I have the lastest audio driver. The speakers before the Polk Audio Speakers worked out fine. I guess it the speakers :/

Which speakers? From what i read of your 1st post, the original speakers didnt work and the new ones your dad bought didnt work? Which ones worked? The ones from the other computer?
