Hi, this is my first post to these forums, I hope I am in the right spot.

I have Windows Vista and I installed it on the upgrade cd from Windows XP about 6 months back. For the first 4 months I had Vista my processor and memory were rated at about 4.8 on the windows performance index application. After not checking it for a while, I came back and checked it and now I get about 3.1 for my memory and about 3.2 for my processor. I have no idea why.

Since then, i have reinstalled vista and my computer is running quite smoothly, but a bit slower. It still rates that low.

I have an AMDX2 64 4200+ and 2 gig pc-3200 ram. Should I be getting these scores? and If not, how can I get my computer up to where it used to be?
