Is this a proprietary system? (ie; Brand Name - Dell, Hewlett Packard, Compaq, IBM, Lenovo, Gateway)
If so, post your computer brand, and the complete and full model number.
The following will ID all your hardware;
Download, install, and run Everest Home Edition on this machine. (Clean FreeWare) Once it's finished loading and running, look under Multimedia, or, under Multimedia, PCI / PnP Audio. This will tell you what sound devices you have available on your system.
Post that information.
Also lookup your motherboard and motherboard chipset.
Post the information for both of those.

Make sure you have all of the updates for your sound driver. Also, check if any of your connections are loose, could be a loose cord or a loose jack. Also, try to play with your sound configuration a little bit. I have had a lot of sound problems and the majority of them I have been able to fix with fixing loose connections and reconfiguring my sound. Sometimes the computer's default doesn't always do what you want it to do or think it will do.

Are you running Windows Vista? That has had lots of problems with sound.

Your #3 post "report" lists;
"Device Description Type SiS 7012 Audio Device PCI"
However now you state;
"the sound card is a SigmaTel and i am using sigma tel c major audio driver6.13.10.9010"
Is the "report" you posted in your #3 post the EVEREST Report?
If you have installed a peripheral sound card/device, you should disable the ON-BOARD sound device.
Problems & Suggestions
Problem AGP aperture size is more than half of the system memory size. This may cause performance penalty.
Additionally, you should enter your machines bios and set the AGP aperture size to 128.
