Last night I shut off my computer in Clone mode with the primary display set to my HDTV. Now, I can't get my computer to display on my monitor. It won't detect it, so I can't change the primary display back, nor can I select the clone option. How can I get my computer to recognize the monitor again? I've tried system restore, unplugging the HDTV and rebooting, plugging the monitor into both DVI ports on the video card, but nothing seems to work. I am running windows xp with an nvidia geforce 7600 GT. Thanks!

Thank you for the welcome. Yes, I tried safe mode but the display stayed on the tv, and once in safe mode I could not get to the display properties to try and change it.

Is there anything else that I can try? I went into the device manager and the monitor isn't displayed there.
