And I thought I was the only one. I have exactly the same problem. I never had these kind of problems with any other Logitech mouse, in fact they all performed so well that I decided to buy the G7. I think Logitech owes us an explanation....soon

I getting a G5 for for bday.

My G7 has just been sitting tucked away on my shelf...

same problem here. Any resolutions? Where is Logitech on this?

Call them up and let them know. If it's still under warranty they'll probably send you a knew one.

But this problem is long gone for me, i already bought a G5 in February.
