Hello I'm a bit new to this site so please help me out,
When I put my CD into my CD drive on 'My Computer' it says that the CD is blank. On my friends computer the CD works. It can't be my CD drive because I just bought a new one a few months ago. Can anyone HELP!!!! I would be really grateful if anyone could give me advice on what to do.

have you tried a CD lens cleaner? after a while dirt etc builds up on the lens

No I haven't tried that but it only happens sometimes. But the same CD works on my friends computer fine.

The CD Drive I had before never done this it worked fine. I bought a Samsung CD drive for some good money it shouldn't be dirty already!!

you could have the best CD player money can buy if the lens gets dirty you'll have problems the CDs you've been using may've been a bit dirty

I used the CD lens cleaner and it still don't work. The funny thing about it is that all my other CD's work except this one. But this one works on all my friends computers fine. I know it's a bit weird but thats whats happening.
