Is that an integrated chip or an AGP card?

What is the make and model of the motherboard?

You might be able to upgrade the card depending on the motherboard.

    it is a agp card.

i have looked at upgrading i have seen other cards that are compatible with my motherboard but i would like to see if there are any other ways of making it better.

the computer that we are taking about is not my main computer so i would like to try some other ways than spending lots of money on it.

We still need to know the motherboard make and model.

Generally speaking the best bang for the money is to bump up the RAM - but that depends on how much is already installed, so we need to know that too.

Also, knowing the budget would help.

    i think it came out of a 'HP Pavilion 06 DF130A-ABU a110 0c'

    there is 512mb pc3200 memory

Budget im not sure about the cheaper the better because the computer in question only gets used 2-3 times a month when my cousin comes to my house to play games over the network against me.

It seems that board was released as an OEM board for several makers. It looks like it supports 1 x AGP 4X slot (1.5V Only). Most AGP 8X cards will toggle down.

I'm sorry, but did you happen to check the specs on those pages? Just wondering because based on your past history here, I would think it would be fairly easy for someone with your expertise to determine which is better. Perhaps you missed that one card was,
AGP 8X, 128Mb DDR, and 1.3 Billion pixels/sec fill rate
    and the other card was
AGP 4X, 64Mb DDR, and 1.1 Billion pixels/sec fill rate
    No?
