    Oh No.......

    For some stupid reason i decided to clean my pc fan,after cleaning it i cliped it back on to my mother board and fired up my pc.... BUT it failed to boot up, instead i get a long beep continuiosley and no signal registers on my moniter, does this mean iv,e fryed my pc. Is their anyone who can tell me what this alarm could be???

    If you are referring to the CPU fan:

    Did you clean and replace the thermal compound?

    Are you sure that you did not un-clip or alter the seating of the CPU?

    Yes i am referring to the cpu fan, No i did not replace the compound, i just put it back how i found it, the compound still looked fairly moist and i dont think ive dislodged the cpu. The clips r in place and ive checked that the fan is working

    I'd start over again and clean and replace the compound.

    Your error is most likely a CPU error. Either not detected or overheating.

    Wouldn't hurt to reseat the CPU very carefully. And inspect the pins while you are at it.
