    Lost network connection

I am no longer able to connect to the internet and I suspect that the problem is the on-board Lan controller on my Chaintech VNF3-250 motherboard. When I click on network connections no icons appear in the window. In device manager no network adapters appear inthe list. Is there a work around or must I replace the motherboard? If yes, then then any suggestions as I don't think this one is available anymore.

    Thanks.

    It is your LAN driver.

    Reinstall it.

Turns out the onboard NIC is defective (Yahoo Answers). Just added a network card to an empty PCI slot and I'm back in business.
