you may have damaged the motherboard.
before the problems did you used to get a beep as the machine started?
most machines make a little beep sound to say they've past Power On Self Test http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power-on_self-test and all is OK before they boot, if no POST it could mean a motherboard failure or another fault
but from your first post
you may have damaged your motherboardi forgot to unscrew the graphics card and the card was moved
No clue what exactly i did but i reconnected all things on the motherboard a 2nd time except i got lazy and didnt plug in the ide drive controllers.
Then got bored and decided to try and boot up and guess what?, it booted . I then went to go plug in the Hd and cdrom and began installing Xp which im doing now.
I guess 2nd try is a charm right
