Keyboard Not working

    Keyboard Not working

    Hi,

My keyboard, whch i have used for several months, has suddenly decided NOT to work with my Windows XP computer. The problem does not lie with the Keyboard itself because i ahve tried two other keyboards.
I also know this becasue whilst Windows loads the "Num Lock, Caps lock and scroll lock" keys flash once. My mouse however DOES work.
But still, this is a great nuisance because i cannot access my PC at all because it is password protected, thus i cannot enter my password without the keyboard!

Any suggestions or help gratefully appreciated.

    Cheers
    Nathan Thorn

Are the keyboards you are trying USB or PS/2?

If the former try the latter.

Can you enter the BIOS Setup and use your keyboard?

it's ps/2 and no i cannot enter the bios setup.
Also, I have bought a UAB adapter which allows me to use the ps/2 keyboard via. a USB connection which i hope will work. If it doesn't i will repost here. Any other help appreciated.
