I don't know what to do. Someone please help!

I just switched out my old master hardrive cause it had some kinda ntldr missing error so I replaced it with a new 400GB seagate SATA. The problem occurs when I boot the WinXP CD once it detects settings and around the point where it asks if I want to repair, do a fresh install, etc. the computer simply shuts down. I've already removed all nonessential components and it still does the same thing. i really need help here.

You need to press F6 at the first prompt to load drivers.

You need your SATA/RAID drivers (from your motherboard manufacturer) on a floppy disk.

Insert the floppy and copy the drivers when prompted.

XP within itself cannot see SATA hard drives without the motherboard drivers.
