I have had a Lexmark X5470 for 6 months with no problems until recently. It will automatically turn off and on. It is like the power button is pressed once a minute. It does it with USB cable plugged in or unplugged. It does it with one, both or no cartridges installed. It does it plugged into different wall outlet. Still does it with new power supply sent by Lexmark. Lexmark software has been removed and re-installed. Help, Lexmark can't.

According to Lexmark here (click on "SPECS"), there's a 1 year exchange warranty on that product. Take it back to where you bought it.
