we watch mlb.tv and we hook it up to our tv, when we switched it off the tv back to the computer something got messed up, now my brand new 42 in HD tvs picture is so big that you miss part of it. Can anyone help?

Just to make sure, your problem is with your TV, and not your computer, right? Your complaint is that with regular TV - ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, etc. - the display is part way off the screen, but your computer is working fine, right?

If so, then you need to look at your TV settings/manual - Check the remote and cycle through the Zoom settings or see if there is a reset option.

i thought so to but after going through everything on the tv, the only thing left is the computer. when my husband (not computer smart) tried to switch the screen back to the laptop, he messed with all kind of buttons. So now the tv picture is super big and you miss 1/3 of the picture.

I am still confused.

Is the computer working fine?

Is the computer still connected to the TV? If so, disconnect it and see what happens.

ok its fixed going off your earlier advise, i checked the tv again, then with my big ole brain i remembered that on the cable remote, the zoom button. sorry i feel stupid. But to defend myself he said it happened on the computer. thank you
