Hiii, everyone.
I got an Acer Aspire WLCi laptop for Christmas a couple years back. It's worked perfectly up until about a month ago when the original ac adapter stopped working. Yesterday, a new one came in the mail and everything worked fine and still did after a restart. However, when I turned the computer off and turned it back on a few hours later, nothing would work. When I plugged the adapter in, the light on the front of the laptop would not come on. When the power button is pushed, nothing happens. There is no fan sound or anything.

My first thought was that the new ac adapter may have been too powerful and have blown the battery, but the input and output both match the original adapter. Plus, it worked perfect the first time around.

Does anyone know what's going on? Are there more questions that I need to answer?
