    need some help please

i bought an ibm netvista off of ebay about a month ago, i get it and everything works fine my graphics card fits but is too tall and i cant get the case on... also i noticed that the metal peice connected to my graphics card(that you use to screw it onto the computer) is too tall to fit in the computer aswell... i was wondering if there was a certain type of card that goes in these computers or if anyone knew which cards would fit in this, any info would be a great help thanks.

What is the exact NetVista model? It is most likely a "slim-line" or "pizza box" desktop.

What card do you have? (make and model).

Sounds like you need a "low Profile" card but the rear plate should be a standard size.

Also in your considerations you might consider getting a new mid tower or tower case and moving everything over rather than being limited by this case.

That should work fine. Your board is Micro ATX so it will fit. Good basic case. You will need to add the fans but they are only a few dollars.

The only question is the mounting of the Power Supply Unit. The one in your present case might be smaller then the standard ATX mount in the new case.

If so you can probably rig it up so that it works but it may not fit the opening exactly. Another upgrade would be to go to an ATX PSU. Your current one is probably very low in Wattage and with that graphics card you might want to consider upping the Wattage a bit.
